How short drama licensing is priced
How short drama licensing is priced — flat fees, minimum guarantees, revenue share, and bulk catalogue deals. Transparent guidance for platforms, telcos and broadcasters.
How is short drama licensing priced?
Short drama licensing is typically structured as a flat per-title fee, a minimum guarantee plus revenue share, or a bulk catalogue deal. Pricing depends on territory exclusivity, language, window length, and whether masters include vertical, horizontal, dubs and subtitles.
What's the typical cost per title?
Industry rates for premium vertical short dramas range from a few thousand USD per title for non-exclusive AVOD windows up to mid five figures for exclusive multi-territory SVOD rights. Bulk catalogue deals lower the effective per-title cost significantly.
Do you offer revenue share or minimum guarantees?
Yes. Unisun supports flat fee, MG plus rev-share, and pure rev-share deals for trusted partners. For telcos and AVOD, rev-share aligned to ad inventory or VAS subscribers is common.
What rights are included?
Standard licenses include streaming, mobile, embeddable player and FAST/linear rights for the agreed territory and window. Theatrical, format remake and merchandising rights are negotiated separately.
How fast can I onboard a catalogue?
Because Unisun is the sole copyright holder of every title, chain-of-title checks are minimal. Master delivery, subtitles and metadata packages typically ship within 7-14 days of contract signature.
